My Favorite Object: Jill Comer

“I always want to say Prince Shōtoku. It’s this beautifully carved little wooden prince. It has a strong persona—a presence. The other thing that’s cool about the sculpture is that it came with all kinds of stuff inside of it—little objects of ritual.”
